Full-stack developer builds and ships features across .NET/React/Azure stack, handles debugging, infrastructure issues, and code reviews with ownership mindset.
Headquarters: Kansas City
URL: https://www.shiftforce.com
**About us**
ShiftForce is scheduling and operations software for restaurants. We've been around a while, we're profitable, and we ship real features to real users every week. Small team â there are no layers of management between you and the work, which means real ownership and real impact, but also means everyone pitches in on whatever needs doing.
**The role**
We need a full-stack developer who works like an owner. You'll pick up problems from the backlog, ask the questions you need answered, then build and ship the solution. We're not looking for someone who needs every decision made for them â but we're also not looking for someone who treats every ticket as an excuse to rewrite a subsystem.
A typical week might be shipping a couple of features, fixing a few bugs, debugging a weird Azure Function timeout, reviewing a teammate's PR, and pushing back on a product idea that doesn't make sense. Some weeks lean more toward infra and ops â a broken pipeline, a slow query. Because we're small, you'll wear many hats. You should be comfortable solving technical problems that aren't strictly "writing code," and you shouldn't expect a dedicated DevOps or DBA team to hand you a clean environment.
**Stack**
- Backend: C# / .NET Core 10, some legacy .NET Framework (being migrated)
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, CSS
- Mobile: React Native / Expo
- Data: SQL Server, PostgreSQL â real queries, real indexes, real execution plans
- Infra: Azure Functions, App Service, DevOps pipelines, Key Vault
**You're a fit if you**
- Have 3+ years shipping production code on a similar stack
- Solve problems instead of escalating them â you read the logs, write a repro, check the docs
- Build what was asked for, not what you wish was asked for
- Are comfortable wearing many hats: code, infra, debugging, customer issues, whatever the week needs
- Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) as part of your daily workflow â not as a novelty
- Communicate clearly in writing (most of our communication is async)
**Logistics**
- 100% remote, US-based
- Full-time
- Slight preference for candidates in Las Vegas or Kansas City â not a requirement
**How to apply**
Email justinb@shiftforce.com with a short note describing a hard bug you debugged recently â what was broken, how you found it, how you fixed it. That's the application. Resume optional.

Leads engineering teams developing identity threat detection and response products, manages technical roadmap, and scales security infrastructure protecting millions of identities.
Reports to: Vice President, Engineering
Location: Remote US
Compensation: $240,000 to $300,000 base plus bonus and equity
What We Do:
Cybercrime is growing, and more businesses are getting hit by threats that used to target only the biggest organizations. That pushes defenders like us to operate at the highest level, and it deepens our need for good people who want to make a meaningful impact.
Founded in 2015 by former NSA cyber operators, Huntress is a remote-first team working to make enterprise-grade cybersecurity accessible to businesses of all sizes. We work closely with security teams and service providers protecting complex environments, often without the time or headcount to handle it all. Thatâs why we build our technology in-house and back it with a 24â7 human-led Security Operations Center (SOC). As a result, our platform is never disconnected from the experts who manage it, ensuring our customersâ protection.
Huntress now secures more than 5M endpoints and 11M identities worldwide. Those numbers keep growing because more businesses rely on us to help carry the load and operate with more confidence. Every day, you can see that commitment in how we stand with our customers and how we show up for each other.
What Youâll Do:
Huntress seeks an experienced leader to elevate our Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) teams and deliver purpose-built products for all businesses. In this role, youâll be responsible for teams that develop our fast-growing ITDR product, which protects over 11M identities across thousands of customers. You will also be responsible for growing a team for one of our newest products, Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM). Weâre seeking a passionate, inclusive engineering leader who can bring state-of-the-art engineering practices and deep experience in developing teams and people to accelerate our next growth phase. You will pair highly performing engineers with the leading AI development tools to build rock-solid security products for our customers.
At Huntress, we work with low walls between disciplines because we believe good ideas are everywhere, and the best products come from teams that deeply understand our customers, experiment, and validate their products.
Responsibilities:
What You Bring To The Team:
What We Offer:
Huntress is committed to creating a culture of inclusivity where every single member of our team is valued, has a voice, and is empowered to come to work every day just as they are.
We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, veteran status, genetic information, marital status, or any other legally protected status.
We do discriminate against hackers who try to exploit businesses of all sizes.

Senior infrastructure engineer who owns CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and developer tooling while building human-AI development loops for coding agents.
An Introduction to Primer
Primer is the unified infrastructure for global payments. We give finance and payments teams the visibility and control to reduce complexity, improve performance, and capture more revenue - all from a single platform.
Backed by Sofina, Peak XV Partners, ICONIQ, Tencent, Accel, and Balderton, weâre building the payments layer the worldâs best companies rely on.

Youâll join Infrastructure, the team that owns the platform every other Primer engineer builds and ships on. CI/CD, deployment, internal tooling, ephemeral environments: if itâs how code gets from a laptop to production safely, itâs ours.
We operate the way the rest of Primer does. Remote-first, async, high autonomy, low bureaucracy. You build it, you own it, and that includes running it in production. Youâll report to the Engineering Manager for Infrastructure & Data and work alongside a small group of senior infrastructure engineers.
What makes this interesting right now is the human-AI development loop. Coding agents are changing how software gets built, and we want someone to own how that actually works at Primer rather than bolting it on. That part of the role is yours to define.
Own Primerâs internal developer platform end to end: the CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows (canary, blue/green), self-service tooling and ephemeral environments that every engineer here depends on to ship.
Build the human-AI development loop. This is the most open part of the role: the tooling and automation that let engineers work effectively alongside coding agents, and the patterns that make agent-driven workflows fast and safe at Primer.
Treat developer productivity as a measurable system. Instrument it, find where delivery actually slows down, and ship the changes that fix it instead of guessing.
Take real operational ownership. Youâll join the Core Infrastructure on-call rotation and own the reliability of what you build.
Set the technical direction for how Primerâs engineers build and ship, and bring less experienced engineers along with you as you do it.
Improve how engineers write code, not just how they ship it. Partner with product teams to make the tools, frameworks and internal APIs they use everyday more ergonomic, and help reduce the friction of building features at Primer.
Build Primers paved roads. Reduce the application boilerplate engineers write, shape standards around how services are built and configured, and own the golden-path tooling that lifts efficiency across every team.
Work in the open across a fully distributed team, making your decisions and trade-offs visible rather than holding them in your head.
Strong cloud infrastructure experience. AWS is preferred; weâll also consider strong GCP backgrounds.
Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
Infrastructure-as-code as a working tool, not a buzzword. Terraform is preferred, but Pulumi, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar are fine. Not having Terraform specifically is not a blocker.
CI/CD as a core competency. Youâve owned the build, test and deploy workflow and preview environments, not just used them.
A history of measuring and improving delivery, using DORA, SPACE or a similar framework to back the work up.
Comfortable owning production systems and being part of an on-call rotation.
A genuine software engineering background. Youâve built and maintained applications or products, not just infrastructure tooling.
You can reason about what makes code pleasant to work with. This is what lets you build AI and developer tooling that engineers actually want to use.
An async-first communicator who works well in a remote, distributed team.
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience building with AI or agent tooling, or working directly with LLM-based development workflows. This field is new, so real curiosity counts alongside real experience.
Familiarity with MCP servers and agent integration patterns.
Payments, fintech or other regulated-industry experience.
Weâre remote-first and async-first. Nobody is looking over your shoulder, and nobody is going to hand you tightly scoped tasks. You own your work from problem to production.
This role carries real operational weight. Youâre on call for what you build, and when something breaks at an awkward hour, thatâs yours too.
The AI-enablement side of this is genuinely undefined. Thereâs no playbook yet. If you want a clear, settled remit, this isnât it. If you want to write one, it is.
Pace and ambiguity are constant. Priorities shift as we learn, and youâll often be making calls without complete information.

Weâre building a culture where people can do their best work and be proud of the impact they have. Youâll be working with people who are mission-driven, smart, and reflective, and who are genuinely invested in building exceptional products and delivering success for our merchants.
We work remotely, and have done since day one. We believe that building a successful, profitable company goes beyond proximity. We invest in our relationships through great remote working practices and thoughtfully designed face-to-face time, including workations, our annual company retreat, and co-working space access worldwide.
The work is challenging. Scaleups are a challenge, and building category-defining products is a challenge. But thereâs a meaningful difference between a challenge and a struggle. At Primer, the right challenge comes with the right support: strong onboarding, a collaborative environment, and a team that is genuinely invested in your success. Itâs never something you face alone.
đ We are fully remote and globally distributed; and have been since day one
đ° Competitive share options

At Primer, weâre dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. If youâre excited about this role but your experience doesnât align perfectly with every qualification listed, we encourage you to apply. You may be the right candidate for this or other roles.
Primer is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and adopts a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination, regardless of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership, or any other background or belief.

About the job
We need someone who is equally comfortable writing C and JavaScript. The Bare team builds and maintains the runtime itself along with a growing ecosystem of native modules (bare-bluetooth, bare-tcp, bare-fs, bare-crypto, and many more). You would be writing native addons that bridge platform APIs into JavaScript, debugging across multiple operating systems, and helping keep the runtime small and correct.
This is a hands-on systems role. You will work independently, own modules end to end, and ship code that runs on phones, laptops, servers, and constrained devices.
Design, implement, and ship bare-* native modules (e.g., bare-bluetooth, bare-tcp, bare-fs, bare-crypto) end to end, including code, and tests
Write C native addons that bridge platform APIs (Bluetooth, networking, filesystem, crypto) into JavaScript
Maintain and extend existing native modules based on product team requests and the bare-node compatibility list
Set up and maintain cross-platform builds for macOS, Linux, Android (NDK), and iOS (Xcode)
Own cross-compilation toolchain configuration for each target platform
Maintain CI pipelines that build and test native modules across all supported platforms
Investigate and fix platform-specific build failures and toolchain issues
Contribute to the Bare runtime core (module system, native addon system, light-weight threads)
Help reduce the bare-node missing API surface
Participate in evaluating and integrating alternative JS engines eg libjerry
Debug native addon issues across multiple OS and device targets, including mobile
Write and maintain tests for all modules
Respond to Bare team inquiries from internal teams and the public.
Communicate progress, blockers, and decisions in writing .
Participate in a weekly status call.
Participate in Bare workshops and contribute to onboarding materials.
Coordinate with product teams (Keet, WDK/Wallet).
Strong C programming skills, including experience writing and debugging native code across platforms.
Advanced JavaScript skills with a solid understanding of Node.js internals and the module ecosystem.
Experience building native addons for Node.js or similar runtimes (N-API, node-gyp, or equivalent).
Familiarity with libuv or other asynchronous I/O frameworks.
Comfortable working across macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS build toolchains.
Experience with cross-compilation and platform-specific system APIs (Bluetooth, networking, filesystem).
Ability to read and navigate large C and C++ codebases.
Self-directed work style with strong written communication skills.
Backend Python developer builds and maintains core messaging platform APIs, database systems, and integrations for a WhatsApp business messaging platform.
360Dialog is the leading Whatsapp platform for Independent Software Providers. We are hosting the Whatsapp channels for more than 800 software solutions and 45000+ B2B clients. As a bootstrapped and profitable company with no investors in the cap table, we are free to do what makes sense from the business, tech and product perspective. Our mission is to enable businesses to not only adapt messaging channels but also use them for performance use cases and drive revenue through them. We love to use state of the art engineering methods all over the place, in software development, tech operations but you will find them also in non-tech areas through the whole organization.
We are looking for like-minded people to join our organization and contribute with their ideas, skills and expertise in exchange for a good payment.
What we Offer:
Hereâs an opportunity to shape a whole new industry in Business Messaging. Youâll be joining a team of experienced entrepreneurs who run a bootstrapped and profitable global company.
NB: This is a contract-based position. We are a fully remote company and welcome applicants from anywhere in the worldâplease disregard the listed countries, which are included only due to system requirements.
The Role
Youâll join the Messaging Platform team - the core of our product - working on the backend systems that power partner and client APIs, WhatsApp channel lifecycle, billing, integrations, and more. This isnât a ticket-grinding role. Youâll own domains, shape architecture, and see the downstream impact of your decisions directly in production.
We work in Python across services that need to be correct, observable, and maintainable - not just fast to ship. Youâll work closely with a small, experienced team and a tech-first leadership that values deep understanding over surface-level velocity.
Deep Python, not wide Python
Backend systems experience
Domain ownership mentality
Structured thinking under complexity
Clear, calibrated communication
Self-awareness about skill vs. experience
Nice to have
Budget
The budget range for this role is âŹ40K/YEAR â âŹ100K/YEAR, depending on the candidateâs level of experience and fit with the position requirements.
